As you were Alan, false start... first I had to clear out the excess 2-pac from the rear guide. Even then I had to press the cable outer end cap into place (with some copper grease for good measure)

Then Mrs Peachy decided the rest of my day would be better spent working in the garden..

Can’t make my mind up...
Black Brooks Swift & leather tape with Black Yumeya & Black DuraAce cables

Or...

White titanium Flite & Shimano tape with White Yumeya & White DuraAce cables.

My backside will have to decide, road test planned if it stops raining & blowing a gale! Till then the build’s on hold.

Flite it is... both were comfortable, but the shiny leather on the Swift was just too slippery. I had to keep adjusting my position but with the flite my bum just stayed put. :|
