Yes, they are covered in clear coat, but not by me, by Bob Jacksons in Leeds... :cool:

What a great thread. Last year law as given an '83 CB Sierra, which also had a through resto. Other than Tektro drop bar aero levers I've kept it standard. It's not a rocket shop, but is an all day fast cruiser, very comfortable and a nice roller.

There we go. It's worked it's way into my affections and become my favourite road bike. The comfort, the smooth ride, those lovely Wolber rims, great stuff. The Holdsworthy era Claud's are excellent machines indeed, very underrated.
