I was in a bike shop today....

.... minding my own business, and there was a gentleman at the counter talking to a member of staff (at great lengths) about mtb stuff from the late 80's and 90's... And then they got onto the subject of componentry and brands from said period in time.

Naturally my ears pricked up :roll:

... and then the shop keep astounded me with his "I wouldn't worry too much, cos it's all worthless and should just all be binned" contribution to the conversation.

I think he could be ever-so-slightly wrong..
