USA maggot cruiser.

It’s time to call it a day. I still have to attach the rear fender stays and mend a rusty old chain that’s broken in two places. I used heavy wire to keep the front coaster arm from spinning. Man, the tires are rotted, the rims are dented and about as true as taco chips. The seat cover is so rotted that it just falls apart when you touch it. I’ll replace that with a rusty seat with the cover already rotted off from the junk pile. 3A91C715-AF1B-4B1E-A120-03701C0E2316.webp FFBB54E5-B95F-47E2-A400-4E4E3F2DFE54.webp 316841B7-0EEC-4017-B0DD-38E0B831372B.webp 26351B68-CC33-476C-AA7A-3F61443A7C2C.webp

The Rusty Sawblade downtown draws a lunchtime crowd. Tall Pines Grocery and deli fills your everyday needs.
Tall Pines is also a petrol station and and has sleeping rooms. I didn’t make it there. The only other times I’ve been to Amasa was on the train to Chicago. That service is long gone. I think it would be fun to try and locate the old nearby mine sites and go rock hounding in the poor rock dumps. I couldn’t post photos of the Tall Pines because the online photos of it would not transfer.
