Pace RC200 F5 - Yeah, that one on eBay!

The one telling you to pop to your local bike shop (CIC) for getting it buil lt when you asked on Facebook.
But I've been here much much longer talking about old bikes.
Live just over that large bridge near us.

Finally managed to tidy the shed out since I moved into my parents, due to my now ex being a muppet. (thats tame!)

Swapped my wheels to some Mavic 517 SUP Ceramic's and it looks much better.

Just the tyres to swap to my NOS Panaracers off the old wheels, which i have now sold.

Hopefully I'll do a bit over the xmas break, I have the M950 XTR groupset to smarten up, so I might get that done.

For now, it resides next to the Canyon

Well the weather is hopefully getting better soon, so ill make a start on finishing the Pace build, ready for York, where I will be displaying it.

Any tips for cleaning up an XTR groupset to make it look smart?

After seeing a few folks on here having decent results, I grabbed a tub of 'MOTHERS Mag & Aluminum Polish' and it seems to be doing the trick.. I don't have any M950.

Mothers seems quite gentle so I can't see it causing an issue other folks with more experience of using with M950 etc will hopefully validate this.

That's looking lovely!
Quick question if you dont mind, what length is that controltech stem? I'm trying to find out whats the shortest single bolt bar clamp stem they did (as I'm after one!)?
Thanks

update time

Steve sadly passed a while back and his father has asked me to compete the build for him/them. I will be collecting the bike and bits next week with a view to show it at the malverns and then family will be cherishing it for the foreseeable as per steves request. it should be embarking on a coast to coast trip next year with family to raise some hospice funds and a nod of nostalgia from their last c2c trip

I will update as i can

one love, chris
