I'll probably need another brace. Gotta balance the thing out.

I'll powder or anodize the purple one, but I heard rumors of a guy with a black one that really wants another $75 in his pocket :)

Who? this guy?

.

Turd :D

If I decide to sell the black one I'd be happy to trade you for the purple one, but I kept the black and a silver ones because I plan on using them down the road

You will find a set of gators eventually then you will have no use for a rooster at all

Whats the head tube height on your frame?

Re: Brodie Expresso Restoration Project ... Advice Welcome :)

I would keep one of each to. Is take both. The purple one will look great on my stumpy fs.

Head tube on the expresso is 5.5"

It's a 19" frame

ok, my 1-1/8 gator is 169mm so could work... your headtube would be about 139mm.... so you would need to face about 4mm off of it...

I'll keep you in mind if I let it go...

Re:

I am gonna go with these forks until some gators fall in my lap. I had planned on mag 21s, but apparently these can be easily lengthened. Good looking forks :)

Frame is done at the powder coaters :)

Re:

It's not as bright as the first pic of the brace. It's bright, sorta a fat chance green.

The powder coater cleaned it up nicely. All the surface rust was blasted and he did a pretty good job of protecting the threads.

The fork and stem will also be this colour. The rest will be all black - components, rims, tires, etc. Not everyone's taste but I'll like it.

Re:

Nice! (Sorry I didn't get back to you the other day)

Is it just me or are there little defects / chips in the finish?

Could just be dust under my cell phone screen protector =)

Re: Early 1993 Brodie "BHDT" eXpresso (Ex-ClimbMax) Build

All the marks are on my iPhone 5 case ... Stupid thing. Ruins my pics all the time. The only mark is where he hung it to coat it.

I dropped off a big lot of stuff. We'll see. May be $$$y.
