DBR Axis Team Titanium - Latest Pics Page 4

Re:

Initial build nearly done; just waiting on some new decals. :)

Thought I'd see how some Red WCS Z-Max look ...

Also tried some IRC Mythos...

Cheers :)

Re: DBR Axis Team Titanium - Nick Craig 'hommage' - Updated 25/6

Tis loverly, always wanted one. Assuming they handle the same as the steel version (I think my TR fit me perfectly, I shouldn't have given it to a mate), they it would be brilliant.
If i dcouldn't have found a xizang then... well I discovered one hanging on the wall of a local store early this year... hmmm

Re:

That looks awesome mate

I like the first version with the Geo claw tyres - for obvious reasons!!

:)

Re:

Now with new stickers!...Phase 1 build done; similar to Nick Craig's race-bike. :)

Boom!

That looks great mate. I would leave it as it is :)

Thanks :)

You're right; I love it as it is, but I do want to put it on a 'retro-diet' and see how much weight I can lose off it!

Cheers

Re:

I've skipped my planned Phase 2 build spec and gone straight to Phase 3!

So, now rebuilt with a lightweight spec, knocking off over 2lb  Although, my hanging digital scales have packed up, so approx. weight from my spring balance!

Only thing to do is swap the steel canti-bolts for titanium ones. I may get the cantis re-anodised silver...but Rampage isn't anodising anymore :( ...rather than the black and I'll swap the crank for a compact drive Topline. I think that's it :)

Cheers

Re:

Now with Topline compact drive cranks and Real chain-rings :)
