Kind of sad to see this resto coming to a close - all phases were a pleasure to follow. Bike looks absolutely the nuts

Their the ones I enjoy the most, the ones that make me think. The ones that are just paint and reassemble don't give me the same satisfaction.A problem to be overcome with almost every component, but somehow that makes a project like this all the more rewarding.
Yes I think the red sits very well with the creamGlad you appreciate it! I was tempted to go for a minty metallic green but very happy with the cream. It really makes me think of 70s cars and it creates a nice ground for the red details and leather colours.
Absolutely splendidOk, all done and some half decent photos taken - enjoy.
Here it is as recieved last winter!

I hope you all enjoyed the journey with me! Its a bit of a Trigger's broom rebuild to be honest, with the only original parts being the frame & fork, the headset, rear derauiller, front brake, brake levers, freewheel and tyres. Everything else has been replaced. Thanks to the various forum members who helped me out with parts over the months!
