Having seen these on the site only, it looks like they are stuck in the dark ages in terms of design.
Unnatractive, dated, and in some cases just ugly. Not sure who would buy them!

I think you posted this on the wrong thread. This is not about Overburys.

I've mulled this over, why 'Overbury's' as your example in particular? Is it deliberately to antagonise?

If so its a stupid example in answer to Gump's far more accurate Bristol statement and shows yourself up as having no knowledge of the Overbury's brand whatsoever.

All i know about Bristol is that all the panels were hand beaten(possibly not now but until recently), Noel Gallagher from Oasis has one and two of them makes a lovely pair of Bristols

In all seriousness, the irony of a German buy-out (which is about as likely as a Bristol with small panel gaps) would by incredible.

Bristol Cars existed initially as a result of Bristol Aeroplane Company getting the license to build BMW engines immediately after WW2, when BMW was forced to move away from aero-engines.

Perhaps you can compare the fortunes of the two companies as an example of British/German ways of handling engineering businesses. The headquarters are a little different:
