1994 brodie badass

I was toying with the idea of a shorter (non sus corrected) fork too! So much so that I messaged Paul to ask his thoughts and how this would affect the geometry/ handling.

Well to start with I am not so sure he is so flattered to know so many retro builders are fitting P2 forks on his frames after all he went through with K.

But then again I don’t know of better affordable alternatives. Perhaps a Gleiss fork would do the job too but they are almost as rare as Gatorblades.

Anyhow, if you think that with the sus corrected P2 the seat tube angle is around 74 degrees a non sus corrected fork will bring it to 75 or even 76 degrees. You will end up with lower BB clearance too but having it as single speed it will just rip like there is no tomorrow! It will be super fast. Personally I love steep seat tube angles!
