I'm presuming this belgian frame has a french cottered bottom bracket.
I've tried just swapping english cottered cranks over but the french spindle is too big. the only option seems to be swapping for new bottom bracket, the old cottered crank is rusted through the chrome, so I need something new.
only options I can see are a velo orange french BB or a threadless bottom bracket, bit worried about one of those unscrewing though, gf with ride it more are as single speed though, so no skid stops.
anything else I can do? are their any pics online of the different BB's so I can tell which? this french stuff is as bad as 26tpi raleighs lol
