Need help with the ID of a specialized + seat cluster pics

Cheers, for that, it fits with the seatpost size too, which seems to be fairly unique in the specialised range for the 92/3 years (going on Sheldon Browns web page info)

cant see the serial number on mine , but the seat collar is identical .

differences are : drop outs , mine are semi horizontal , but it is 1991 model , and the are no noles on the side next to the brake bosses .

do a search for Wu tangled pink stumpjumper it is a 1992 model .

Yours is a Team though, right? And Wu's is a Comp. I don't think they ever had bosses at the seatstay tops for rack mounting. I had a '92 Comp, and it didn't. The plain vanilla Stumpjumper kept those upper eyelets for a while longer.

The point Wold Ranger made about different factories being involved in production might explain some of the variations too. My '92 Comp was originally pink, like this one:

but had dropouts like this one:

Mine was made in Japan. Did production of the lower models shift to Taiwan at some point?

Here is my Team :

i have this now

the 25.4 seatpost thing appears to be a red herring - i just fitted one, and there's so much loose room it isnt even close.

i tried a 26.8 and that's too big, but by a smaller margin than the 25.4 is too small, if you get me

i reckon 26.4, and a typo from sheldon
