So DX groupset has turned up from France, great nick but the STI’s have the distinct aroma of cat piss :!: very random

Moving along nicely I still need a DX front mech that was missing from the group so if anybody has a 28.6 bottom pull knocking around also hunting for a set of Hot Rod bars but at this point I’d take any nice polished ally bars !!
Also pondering on a polished stem maybe a syncros if one can be found without having to sell the kids to fund ;)

This is the first bike with a non-black groupset and polished bits I’ve built and I actually quite like all the polished metal finally get the attraction

Another great looking build.
Personally, I'd lose the 'stalk' and either try an earlier one or do a black Syncros/Control tech. It looks too 'new' if you know what I mean.
Is it a genuine 'stalk' or a rebadged something else?

Everything else is spot-on once again.

I've got the DX mech you need. I'll send you a PM.

No hot - rod bars though :(

Cheers.

Agree on the stem, I’ve got the feelers out

Re:

reading with interest as just picked up a small one of these from here that was intended as a cheap runaround for my daughter, but now bit more inspired. Serial number on mine is A207 so July vs May. Curious that yours had a Shimano 600 headset but not original ? as mine had the same by the look of it ?

Re: 1992 Prestige

Interesting deffo a Ritchey Logic mines a 92 same month a few numbers on.
Mines black came from Stif Leeds with Pace.
Decals must have been added at shop often differ yours has the Orange with inset Prestige on seat tube.

Cool

I’m sure it must have depended on what day of the week it was as to where the decals ended up !! Monday to Thursday consistent! Friday anywhere will do let’s go the pub !!

Re: Lockdown build No:3 1992 Orange Prestige ....

Couple of parts have arrived so have thrown them on!

Still on the hunt for a syncros cattleprod but until then controltech will handle stem duties

Picked up some hot rods with really good decals still, and some rc130’s so will play around and see which pair float my boat the most

And rolling with some STI’s

Re:

Is it just the camera angle or are those bars wider than usual hot rods?
