Holdsworth that's possibly not

Another of my ebay buys. The seller did doubt it was a Holdsworth and I'm not convinced either.

It's built up as a nice bike either way but if anyone can shed any light on this frames origins it would be much appreciated.

What I do know is it has a 26.8 seat post, Nervex Pro lugs, both ends are chromed (can't say about elsewhere) and it has Shimano fork ends and dropouts. What I don't know is what the tubing is, who made it and when it was made.

Some pictures to follow.

Top of the seat tube showing internal cable that neither the seller or I thought was original.

Built bike so ignore everything on it but thought I'd post one if it built up.

The things I find odd are the seat stays which don't look Holdsworth to me, the bottle cage bosses are M6 but I suppose these and the rear cable routing could have been added later and the use of Shimano ends but I can't really say why I find their use odd, they seem out of place age wise with the rest of it if it is in fact a Holdsworth.
