A 56T which has been donated to the cause, not quite the 57T, but it will have to do for the time being.

56 is good as the legend that is Lord Cammish used a 56

It came with a pair of Sakae/Ringyo SP-200AL Track pedals with Fides Milano Record Super Light Aluminium toe clips, the toe clips took a bit of research to identify, anyways all cleaned up nicely, bit of patina which I’m inclined to leave be.

The well worn toe straps have been rescued with plenty of leather restorer, no obvious branding on them, I like the well used look of them though.

The Super Record derailleur and shifter appeared to be coated in some sort of mineral oil which had baked on over the years in the various lofts, underneath they were in excellent condition, just a bit of polishing required.

A few Tom Avon badged short wheelbase TT frames were about at the same time as Alf Engers (errr, and me)

Very short rake forks and fag paper clearances quite Aende looking.

The ones I came across were real beauties like this one
