Carbon Seatpost stuck/seized in Steel Frame

Hi all,

Had my bike stored in a parking garage for a year or two and recently got to cycle again, I wanted to change the seatpost but realised it was stuck after I managed two move it up around 2cms. Tried the boiling water a few times but it didn't work. (ice, freeze pump)
Searched the forum but not sure the carbon steel combination was mentioned (let me know if you
Is WD-40 put inside the water bottle cage hole and around the seatpost/frame then put the bike upside down work?

Will try the stem handlebar method as a lever too. Want to keep the seatpost.

Ok so I managed to move it up further, but not quite there yet.
I used GT85 because that is what I have a the moment.
I think there is rust between the tube and the seatpost is the source of the problem.
I need a rust remover that I can spray between these two, any ideas?

I would be wary of any solvent type stuff as it could degrade to resin holding the fibers together. Tricky one. Hopefully someone can help you with so good advice. Good Luck! :cool:
