BoTM Bike of The Month February 2023 - repaints special

Bike of The Month
if your going on paint quality then there is only one winner so far (GROVE)
the shame is its a show of cost again who is prepared to spend the most on paint ;)
maybe member repaints would of been a better show of skills/what someone can create

having said the above can not knock the beautiful bikes in this months comp :)
You're a repaint specialist @stevede , have you got anything to submit? :D

Ductape's 1983 Ritchey Competition.

I found this classic 1983 Ritchey with a horrible bass boat black and silver backyard paint job. Took the time to paint the bike and find the era correct missing components (new paint, new parts). One of the most gratifying restores I have ever been part of.

Passing through researching my latest bike project and came across BOTM. I have always enjoyed this monthly thread. Haven't been much of a contributor lately, but it's always nice to stop by and say hi to you all, while digging around in the archives.

TreaderSteve's 1993 Cannondale BOTE - The Pastel Plonker

A very tired frame and forks turned into this in the garden - lots of preparation, choosing fine days with little wind, Montana Gold colours and a 2K rattle can gloss. All the stickers under the 2K. It's super-bright and lairy in real life! Not sure what my favourite part is but I like the powdercoated DX pedal cages that have a pink splatter and the 'Pepperoni' fork decal :)

oooo a special month, I can enter :)

FactoryCol's Yo Eddy.

I sourced the frame and a horrible build from the US in a tatty condition, and I'd always wanted a "team" paint job, so the build started.

the original paint.

and how it is now, with some great work by Addicted Bikes in Huddersfield who painted it for me.
