Muddy Fox hail from Basildon in Essex.

The theme is about UK brands, but of course all the bikes in this thread have components and frames from a variety of countries, irrespective of where the brand is/was based...

I'm sure someone will disqualify my MF if it doesn't fit the criteria

Sinnermans- Lee Cooper Sirius/Orbit Reynolds 653 ATB with Campagnolo.

Handbuilt in the Uk by Lee Cooper, essentially an Orbit Ecstasy but unlike the Orbit with its Unfinished fillet brazing, the Sirius LC has fully filed 653 and the matching one piece handlebar and stem.

The Recession, when more Bicycles were sold than Cars....!

1991. I remember it well. Im sure others will too, News paper article, referencing the milestone moment the UK bicycle industry sold More than Two million Bicycles, Outstripping new car Sales.

I thought it was about time I made a thread of sorts for my 1989 Roberts Phantom. It must be a pretty rare bike, I think I’ve only seen one other post about a Phantom so hopefully this will be of interest to some. Here it is as it stands today, just needs a Chas Roberts and Columbus decal…..
