There are two wrongs here as far as I can see. One was swapping a frame that had a duff BB, and the other was an over-reaction. But it's all sorted now so end of story.

There's no cut-off age as shown in earlier replies, so keep riding as long as you enjoy it, but if you get to the point where you spend more time in a year recovering from falls than you do in riding it might be time to consider sticking to easier rides :wink:

Some good bikes, any of which I'd be happy to own, but choice comes down to Avanti or Merlin for me, partly because of the "usual suspects" nature of many of the other makes. Let's see more of the lesser known brands.
