Hi, I want to build a kids “leisure” bike and would like a new looking (tidy) frame, preferably with a working front suspension fork. edit: I would now prefer a whole bike!
- good value :)
- (edit) Needs to be small adult size, 14” (short top tube if poss)
- edited: any colour
- Doesn’t need to be retro but 26” canti/vee brake or bosses much preffered
- Won’t ever be used off road! Just pavements and kerbs
- does not need to be fancy or “good” as it’s competing with a cheap Apollo type new bike

Let me know what you have!
Thanks :)

I've got this looking for a new home;

I've got this trek 6500 as a whole bike with STX 7x3. Was for my grandson but he wanted a suspension bike as he does go off road.
Very solid, serviced with some scrstches but not banged up and no dents. Components all in good nick and rolls very nicely. The stem was replaced with an upright job for ease of use, new bars also. One of the Shimano Deore brake arms at the back the retaining nut simply unscrews the mount but doesn't effect performance of braking. generic V brakes on the front, grip shifters, stops and shifts very well indeed. Pads in top condition, wear on braking suraces is good, no loose hubs, BB rolls smoothly, chain and cassette - which is a airly lightweight 12-28, are in good nick.
Its been stored indoors in a spare room so no rusty bits.
Had this on gumtree for £180 but would take £170, we're based in Letchworth Garden City, 2 mins J9

Looks fantastic! Unfortunately it’s out of my price range, I’m looking to reuse my extensive garage bits to keep the costs low
