So.... here we go again....

Once more starting a build thread before the frame and forks are even in the country!

This time it's another Stooge, a MkV which is basically an updated MkIV chassis but using the fork of the Scrambler.

Colour choices were Ochre or a weird French Mustard brown.... and I like weird!

Going to build this one as a 27.5+, and the first parts are already on the way!

Here is the colour and drawing.

Nice! You're on fire mate 🔥

Signing in for updates....

Cranks have just arrived! 😁

Who doesn't like a little CNC bike jewellery.... these things look ace! 😎

First Hope parts in a VERY long time, but will be making up for that with this build! 😋

I fancied injecting some colour to the build when it arrives, and this is my nod to retro '3DV'

Could have done cranks and/or chainring etc but wanted to keep it kinda low-key so decided on purple rotors.

Will be transplanting the 12 speed XTR from the Farley5, but the Hope rotors should play well with the Shimano brakes. 👍

The chainring is a Hope oval, I usually use Absolute Black rings but they don't do Hope fitment yet so will try this instead. The only thing Hope suggested to make everything run smoothy is to swap the Shimano 12 speed joining link for a SRAM one instead, apparently it's not as narrow as the Shimano link and runs perfectly.
