23mm crank puller for TA - BUY OR BORROW

Realised the hard way, after a few aborted attempts, and some swearing that the my crank puller which is 22mm I think was too small to remove a TA crank from my old Pollard. Almost bites, but then just slips out again when pressure applied. Haven't quite stripped the threads yet, but think I need a larger crank puller. A little research suggests that some old TA cranks used 23mm threads, not 22mm. Anybody know, or know where I can get one.

Re: 23mm crank puller for TA - Wanted

Are you looking to buy or borrow?

My TA Crank puller is a tiny looking thing (like Stronglight) and should be at the bottom of a box somewhere........I guess they should be available as copies or originals on evilbay etc.

Pretty sure I've got one I used on a cyclotouriste set a while back. You're welcome to borrow it: PM me. If you want one for keeps I think Hilary Stone has some in stock.

Either/Or . . . . didn't even know there was such a thing until you confirmed it. Are you selling yours?

Thanks Dan,

All done, lovely job. Not a single bike shop in my area had one of these, but a couple of said they'd like to have one. PM me your address and I'll get it back to you. Thanks again!!
