Re:

It is

Only taken it round the block a couple times so to speak and already I can see why these frames are special, laser guided missile comes to mind.

Can't wait to actually ride it properly. This is next to impossible at the minute due to the headset issues (it's stuck :( ) and the BB size, both issues appear insurmountable at present until someone (or I do) comes up with a brilliant plan to save it.

We went for something... different!

(you got me second guessing everythings the right way round 'tho!)

Rear mech cable is a brake outer 'cos it was that or black jagwire at the time of fitting up.

Hoping this isn't your only comment Al!

:D

17"

So what are the issues with the bb and headset?

Re: 1996 Kona Explosif

Lovely bike, I'd like to try a Columbus Explosif, just to see if I can tell any difference between it and my 94 Tange Prestige frame. 17" is not so easy to come by, I've not tried one but suspect it would be perfect for me, mines 16" and I have seatpost insertion anxiety but wouldn't want the frame much longer really!

Re: 1996 Kona Explosif

Another thing, when i run one-piece outer i run it straight to the bar on the arm, no noodle.
