Can you more photos of the bars, in particular the centre part with logo. Pretty sure i git ritchey bars on 1 bike, may be able to compare.

Also any sticker or lable inside bars at the ends.
thanks id appreciate it.

there are no stickers anywhere on them, and there are no obvious signs (apart from the suspected bar thickness) problem is it can be really difficult to tell fakes and originals apart from the pictures. the pic with the white background is a chinese ebay fake, which looks the same as mine but a genuine bar also. ive noticed the clamp isnt very texturised which apparently is a sign

Re:

You're in luck, my bars are black carbon WCS

Will take a closer look and remove bar end plugs to see what theyre like inside.

Re:

Yours look really dodgy to me. Knock off or factory rejects as has been suggested already.

This is what the ends look like on my ritchey wcs trail carbon bars.
Totally uniform thickness:

And the centre section is much more textured:

Re:

Pm me your email addr.

Will get some hi res photos to you.

Fyi my bars came on brand new bike and not aftermarket fitments so im confident they are reall mccoy.

Re:

Took photos.

Both ends have uneven wall thickness, is at 3 and 9 o clock position when fitted.

Re:

thanks both of you chaps for the pictures :)

both of your bars are genuine but one has the uneven thickness and the other does. that just adds more confusion. @02gf74 yours look to be a safe thickness, wheras mine dont look so trustworthy, i also noticed that the clamp has a less genuine looking texture on my handlebars. so i think the main question is.. if you were me and you bought these handlebars second hand, would you return them??? (they also look well used)

Re:

If in doubt return, else it will always bug you.

On mine the central roughed area goes slightly beyond the degree markings, but is hardly visible on yours, cant see how it could have worn off.

Re:

Also the carbon weave on mine is totally different to yours, no idea if that is significant.

Re:

.... and if you say they are well used, someone else has tested them and they havent snapped.

Bts what length and weight, pretty sure i would have weighed mine and noted down.
