Yes there may have been a few upgrades over the years, Yes ive painted the forks & stem black, But, ive never found any thing as reliable as this old yeti. i trust my life on it

As for modern bikes, apart from some of the new Yeti's, ive yet to find some thing i really like.

Modern bikes : not for me. i think we strip the planet of enough resources as it is

I have a 2012/13 Boardman HTPro and it feels bloody enormous compared to my 97 Zaskar. I get much more pleasure riding the Zaskar.

The only thing I think has improved is the quality of suspension. disc brakes too of course, but I love my XT V's

The annoying thing is with the change in wheel sizes I cant sell my modern MTB, nobody seems to want them on Ebay. Bet if I stuck my Zaskar on there, it would get snapped up
