Maclean's Featherweight - 1930s (I think?)

Wow, a fab resource, with all the detail you'll need for an complete rebuild! Finding the parts is going to be a long job I suspect...you only have the frame? (The Langsett came as a just rideable jobby, but plenty work needed. I joined the VCC to gain access to similar to your find but there's only fifties stuff there :?) Keep up the good work.

Further from the same catalogue shows the Super frame, a few different parts available and extras.Courtesy of Veteran-Cycle Club library https://sites.google.com/view/cyclehistory/

Yes only have the frame and the hunt is on for suitable parts.

Looking forward to seeing this one take shape.
Even with a bit of patina it is such a lovely bright colour as it stands.

Re:

Project abandoned. Frame arrived with damage which suggests to me that it has suffered a front on crash at some time in its life.

Re:

Oh no! That is a disappointment for sure, you must be gutted.
Not repairable?

Yeah, Painful Jamie. I think that you would have had to repair /replace top and or down tube to be safe and I'm not prepared to go through the cost and hassle of all that entails.
