Coolest brake levers - opinions!?

shimano xtr m900. It has slr leverage which provides significantly better power/ modulation when dealing w/ canti brakes and lighter than xt m730.

It was never my intention to start a ‘lightest brake levers’ competition - just happened to have my scales and multiple sets of levers to hand
We're all weightweenies at heart, right?
FWIW, I think my favourite levers of all time (except magura, obviously) are shimano m739 V brake levers. the shape is excellent, they look great, and really work.

I've got a set on my Cadex, with V's - but I'd like to run M737 Canti's instead, will they work?

Balls
Which XT levers do work with the M737 canti's?

Vees need diff amount of pull from canti (both are canti but i digress..). There are loads of vee specific levers and canto specific levers. Best is to bet on vintage: vees came up later around mid90s so everything before is canti specific.
Best action w/ your action will come from shimano slr levers since they use a cam which boosts power and betters modulation. Lightest is m900 but if you don´t mind 100grs m730 look nice, work great and are not expensive. If you don´t mind $100 less in your wallet then go for graftons or early avids.

M737!

You got me there
I’m guessing it’s just the combined STI SLR Plus brifters that were meant for the cantilevers, rather than individual brake levers.

Altek, controltech, tech lite are all ones I've owned that I'd call great levers. I'm sure there are others in addition to these and the ones you've mentioned.

I don't recall any levers made by ControlTech.

Any pics...?
