Just setting this one up as I won't be online much for the next week. I'll unlock it when the time comes.

A standard month this time so anything goes; well anything within the rules anyway.

Useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. @al's 1995 weird bouncy thing
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!
Link to all the rules http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules

Nominations thread will run for the entire month of September. Entries submitted after September 30th will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

Thread now unlocked for entries

That is really something special. Links to a build thread would be greatly appreciated. Or more pictures. Or a ride report. Curious about the function of the big spring. Is it expanding under load, or do the long bolts pull the top plate down, compressing the coil?

Appreciate that compliment. Build thread added, thanks for the reminder. I have some riding details and lots of photos there. The pull rods allow you to "adjust" compression. The dampening runs in extension while the spring runs in compression.

That looks nuts. But I love it.
Rear shock reminds me of the giants with similar underneath shocks.
Never seen one before. Great bike and build 👍😎😎😎
