1991 Grove Innovations Hard Core

I tend to like weird bikes and what Bill Grove created in the 80s and 90s can be called weird.
Hard Cores in smaller sizes have the top tube only connected to the huge ovalized down tube due to the hight of the bottom braket. It should prevent pain in the lower levels when standing and it works.
The paint job is a very deep candy purple.
I have built the bike with simple black XT components since the frame, forks and bar stem combo are quite unique and don‘t need any distraction with fancy parts.

Love it

I reeeeeeally like that Hard Core, actually.

Although I do wish it had black grips and some bar plugs! ;)

Looks so good with the all black kit.

You've done a great job with it.

Going to be a tough choice this month. Would have been the Dyna Tech as I had that model when I was 16, but ooh that Peugeot. Decisions, decisions......
