Any quick fixes for a stuck BB?

Since you mention pedals, yesterday I managed to get a pedal off a crank I had been soaking with PlusGas every time I remembered for over a year. It still didn't shift until I had applied a lot of heat using the cooker. Satisfying to finally remove it after all this time ..... although the tapers on the crank are pretty shot, so I might need to replace the cranks anyway :roll:
