Advice on 130mm hub in 126mm frame

Would you risk it? I have heard 753r is not the best at being cold set.

753 tubing simply cannot be cold set. If the rear stays are pulled apart, they will simply spring back into shape (regardless of the distance that they are pulled apart).

I've a SBDU frame in 753R tubing; when I bought it, I contacted no less than Bob Jackson's, Brian Rourke and Dave Yates - all of whom said that 753 cannot be cold set. They advised me not to fit a 130mm hub, on the grounds that it would cause (if only minimal) extra stress on the frame and in turn, this could lead to the possibility of a breakage in the region of the rear brake bridge or a crack just behind the chainstay bridge. (Reynolds 753 chainstays are only 0.6mm thick).
