90's treks

I've got a '95 990. Had a couple of them in the 90's as I was in Paisley Racing Team and we had some sponsorship from Dooleys Cycles / Trek.

I'll revive this a touch....I've got my one owner from new (me) 1991 Trek 950 in the shed, almost entirely original, even the Sour Berry (Purple) paint....might be coming back for some advice on how to make it 21st Century and keep on rolling on...;)

Pics to follow!

Cheers,

Red

my 1991 8700 with original parts

and my 1991 8900… in restoration…

My current project... '92 Trek 9500 with a repaint in 1996 and new decals from a 1996 9900. Will build this one with a Trek Mogul Extreme fork!

Really like these old Trek's!

Re:

Hi. I have two of them, a '93 9200, and a '91 1200. The 9200 is almost finished, but the 1200 is a rider. It's an excellent bike, and my only retro road bike. The photo doesn't do the paintjob justice, it's so bright it almost glows in the dark!

To say I'm a bit of a Trek fan would be an understatement. In no particular order, I've owned the following: a Fuel 80, an STP 200 (still miss it), a 1000 and an OCLV 5500. My current modern Trek is a 2 series Domane, which is outstanding. Just an absolute joy to ride, even on knackered Northants tarmac

Regards

Marge
