A black seatpost perhaps, but not a silver stem. There’s a nice contrast between the black stem and silver bars.

Hmm, hadn't thought of going that way. The seat post does go up and down a lot, I wonder how long a black one would stay looking nice.
I'm sad enough that I might not have to mock this up in a photo to see how it looks
If it wasn't a 27.2mm post, I'd probably be looking for a dropper post, but options are a bit thin on the ground/pricey.

Mostly quite tame but very pretty trails today, but did enjoy slithering down a very steep rocky section that reminded me how much easier it all is on a modern squishy bike!
Looks like a lovely spot, where in the world is that?
