1988 Wicked Fat Chance

A mornings work has made all the difference, i'm happy with the end result of the look of this bike.I've tried to keep simple clean look from the 1980's era its from.

I was toying with doing more, but have decided it's finished* as is. It has the original paint, folks and press in bottom bracket.

Hope you like it, it's going to be used allot more than I initially thought and it just goes to show, you don’t have to spend big ££££ to get a nice retro built ☺

Right time to find me a monster !!

Edit
*Don't think finished and Retrobikes work somehow !

That came out nicely. Not a fan of the risers (a Surly Torsion bar would look awesome), and yeah, trim the housing....but it looks like a functional and fun ride!

Impressed with your seatpost reworking too--those XT posts get so ugly so quick. I may have to try it myself.

Yeah, those bars were temporary until my Luv Handles arrive, but they have actually grown on me, they polished up nicely too and match the seat post.
Will have to have a think about this one.

The cables will be cut back :D
