You've got £25k to buy a car

968 with under 75k miles for £22k - https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... 93/7386893

or even cheaper, a 55k S2 at £19k - https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... ty/7039507

Running a 924S I can vouch for the practicability of the design - can take a bike in the back/go camping/shop till you drop in them. For a design dating back to 1976, it was clearly ahead of the curve.

That's a fun web-site. I think I'm more a https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... id=1&pid=1 fan, than a sports car fan.

I'd buy a cheap rot free MX5 from Japan and spend the change making it look like this -

Re:

Still looks like an MX5!

Does it come with a "No hair care products left in this vehicle overnight." sticker?

Don't care as long as it has that V8 grumble, yes I really am that shallow - but what a great soundtrack for your life. :P

As they said in Mad Max, soon it really will be 'the last of the V8s' when its all leccy cars.

Lol xerxes!

But true; we tend to look at cars as the very least thing worth spending money on. 25k would see me in a nice yacht..

Quite. £25k is a tidy Nicholson 32...retro, timeless and sails upwind on rails.
