Have been browsing Ebay for many months and have found a few nice 753 framesets. BUT, the sellers aren't very keen to sell to Australia. As you all know 'Pick up on delivery' is the mainly the go.
I have 180+ sales on Ebay @ 100%
Should point out am an ex-pat (Nottingham), and have family around the Midlands and the Nth West, but their cycling knowledge is limited. They do however, have long arms and are friendly enough, unless provoked!
So am after a 1980's Raleigh 753 - 58 or 59 cm frameset, or complete bike.
In good condition, goes without saying. If the wheels are on the way out, they are easily replaced = less air freight.
Airfreighted to Australia, in a bike box, with insurance!
Payment by Paypal or bank cheque takes longer to clear though.
