WTD: Charityish - small bike or bits to make one - SORTED

Will be calling in on Thurs night so sure I can grab some then. Should be fine after a quick service. Noticed it yesterday, looking like it needs a new home.

OK. Matt tried his best but through no fault of his, the bike in question went to another home. So, still looking for a bike or generous peoples. :D

I have a 16" 1994 khs Montana summit. Bought as a winter hach, but then a week later I bought another hack!

For 50 quid it would be complete bar saddle and tyres.

Or 30 quid without wheels either.

That's the one. 50 quid for full bike bar the tyres and saddle although I have a cheap saddle I can throw in. Rear brake needs adjusting but I can sort that If it is an issue. Post is about a tenner on a full bike.

I've got a Scott purgatory. Size small.

Not sure of the actual number but I'd be surprised if it's more than a 15"

I can do you the complete bike besides a seat collar (31.8) for £60 including postage.

(I will put a new BB in for another £5 as this one is shagged.)

It'll come with everything. I'll even stick new brake pads on if I've got a spare set. Only thing is that it isn't amazing condition. It is useable as is though. I'll swap the forks over to Chili Works too as the ones on have bad pitting on the stantions.

That would be awesome if the other bits come together, thank you.

Speaking with Jamma and considering another friend of the same stature, I think a 16" frame is needed. We decided that the 15" framed, 24" wheeled bike mentioned above wasn't going to be large enough.

Nick, my wife is 5'2 and her 15 inch frame is too big for her (Edinburgh bike CoOp womens frame) (26inch wheels), I've gone for a 13inch frame to replace it (Specialized) unless she has longer then average legs for her height I would keep below 15. Perhaps take her to a shop and get her to try out a few sizes.
