I would like to point out that at no time was I intending to name the company involved, and wouldn't have made the effort to make near 5hr round trip if I didn't believe in the recommendations they received. It just so happened that the thread took a highly unlikely direction that forced my hand somewhat. I am certainly am not on the bandwagon.

Yes I did pick this frame up, and for reasons I won't bother going into, I was in a massive rush (after my 2.5hr journey) and gave it just a cursory check and I have already held my hands up on the phone to Aerocoat & now to you guys, my issue at the time was the non uniform finish on the Black Chrome more than anything.
I emailed my concerns and pictures on Sunday and rang yesterday at 8am on the dot, to be told that Adam would not be back from holiday until 20th June, and he must have done it before he went away. So the upshot is that I have to wait until then for anything to be sorted.
BTW, it is only Adam that finishes the frame in the Black Chrome, that is why i have to wait on his return.
I will let you know in a week or so

Yes, it will be done in the next few days (apparently). I am having it done in a gloss black (metallic sparkle) fading to chrome front to rear.

I do still have plecty to say about this actually, but I shall wait until it is back in my posession before i continue

OK, it is back (3 weeks after agreeing the new finish) , haven't had time to look at it (only came back yesterday), but I will update either tonight or tomorrow.

Thats what I thought but I didn't say it - if it was me I'd have had a microscope on it within seconds of getting it back. ;-)

No,

I mean it was sent to me via courier . Write up & pics tomorrow, although before they sent it, I asked them to make sure they were all in agreement that what they were sending me was a representation of what people could expect from Aerocoat if they did a job for them
