Which British MTB manufacturers remain?

i think the big downtube oranges were made on these shores . or at least thats the impression i got

ive never had a problem with far eastern made . it lacks the snobby cool factor but if the company has designed the stuff and keeps a watch on manufacture i see no problem

i try to buy stuff from a brit company . its a shame if they cant keep in business by manufacturing here but oh well

if we open it up to parts too theres middleburn and hope . do xlite still make stuff over here ?

Any Orange monocoque frame is Halifax built (5, 224..) the rest are far eastern frames, not that there's owt wrong with those frames.

Curtis are British

Need to pay more attention, for some reason I thought they were american, maybe getting confused with those cool WWII fighter planes from across the pond

What about Thorn? They make mountain bikes but they look a little different to the norm.

Made in Taiwan for the most part unless you go for one of their bespoke frames which are built to order in the UK.
