Where should more modern Road (98+) build threads go?

And can my current retro modern (2005) build thread get moved?

I watched this you tube clip the other day, a cycle touring competition back in the early 60's

They are clearly road bikes being used but they were used on and off road.

Yeah, I'll buy that, the millennium date is simple, but I wouldn't be strict with the cutoff. If someone posted a late 90s bike with brifters that would be ok

I would just make one simple "modern road" subforum here in the Road section and leave it at that. Make it clear people can post their bikes and just chat generally, sorted. More additional subforums just make more clutter/more places to look for new threads etc.

Well we could have the start of the year 2000 ..1/1/2000 or the start of the 21st century the 3rd millennium...1/1/2021. I quite like the idea of modern bikes entering into a new era and retro ending in the old era.
