What do you feed your dog?

Plenty of loons on here ( http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/fo ... ning-talk/ ) but via all the post and snippets good sound enough advice can be gleaned.

For dogs scoffing thier feed to fast-forward ....wedge a large pebble into the dish reducing the access but leaving the door ajar for a more dextrous (sp?) type (they'll soon learn if thier hungry enough/handler does'nt give-in).

Apple Cider Vinegar is well worth the couple of £ it costs, half a thimble full into the dogs drink every other day or so will do it no end of good, same for human consumption via a mug of hot water  -tastes awful but does'nt anything thats any good.(where the apples are grown the livestock are fed them (cheap-chips) and somebody noticed the stock don't cop cancer.

Hi Steve, lovely pure bred Staff :D
I picked her up from the owners, it was the bitches first litter.
Saw both parents and both sets of grandparents all of which had superb temprements.
Only thing was none of the dogs had papers  but on the flip side that meant £200 instead of £400.
The last 2 dogs i've owned have been rescue dogs, but really wanted a Staf this time and didn't want to chance what input previous owner/s could have had with 'that sort of dog'.

Diet wise, I think i'm going to put her on James Wellbeloved in the morning, more for convenience than any other reason.
And part rice/patsa/veg, part meat in the evening depending on what we are having :D
