well since i first saw this i have wanted to have a go making it. always found square tube easier to weld than rounded tubes.

anyone got or had them before ? i've just bought a set of z1 bombers (have'nt arrived yet) with twin disc mounts and i'm planning on doing a twin cable oprated calipers up-front......

Its been done before a few times and really there is no point. Unless the point is just to do it for the sake of doing it.

Twin cable discs don't have the power of a single hydro. Its ends up riding worse too with the extra unsprung mass and the narrower spoke flanges creating a wheel which is less stiff.

i'm only building it as i am able to , and i think it'll work well and look cool

the hub i have won't be shortened so it won't be any worse than any other wheel. where did you hear the above anyway ? have you done the twin disc set up your self ?

:D :D

well the hub i've bought won't work , phoned goldtec and they quoted me 400-500 quid to do one and i've e-mailed First Principles about their FP Rotor Mounts so just waiting for a reply.....

i've also got 2 cheapo hubs the same and have them marked out ready to chop up and re-weld :D :D

lots of work done by phone/e-mail/phone and i'm not really that much further and to top it off the forks won't be posted out until friday

ggot an e-mail saying the seller was skint and cant afford to post them until the end of the week , my reply was if you send them next day delivery then thats fine........

think i'll go cut up some hubs :D :D :D
