Today-Friday-Happy First day of Spring! We rode to Ross and up Eldridge Grade again today-the spillway is still spilling at Phoenix Lake, which is a good sign for us locally with the Statewide drought conditions that are going on now. Saw a logful of turtles at Phoenix and got a shot-plus a long lens shot of the Fire Lookout on the very top of Tam's East Peak. Cooled right down today to about 68 F. and partly cloudy...

Today-Saturday-Got to my ride partners' house and saw his wife's nice old Salsa in the yard-so I took a pic. We rode up to the West the steepest way about 1200' into the Open Space District, then dropped down to a rest stop we call the Council Rocks, which sit just above the loop trail at Tamarancho. Really nice out, about 72 F. and sunny...

Thanks THM- Today-Sunday-Totally different weather-started out overcast and about 62 F. as we headed towards SF Bay-turned around there and it started raining lightly, so we headed back to Fairfax where it is dry right now-about 15 miles today. Spotted this nice old Pontiac Woody on the way home, so I took a pic...

First ride out on the new 26er. I know not retro but still has 26" wheels and is steel. Weather was 27 overcast with a light dusting of snow. Trails were slightly mucky.
