The Retrobike Wiki Project

I only didn't like the front page change as suddenly two categories being used had vanished  and you couldn't notice the lists.

Oh and I'm only asking about stuff to find out how to add beyond mere cut and past from other sites (e.g. here), I personaly would just link to wikipedia or important threads once the basics have been covered, no point in repeating but that is me. Excellent for a basic template though.

I asked about template as I noticed a few of the manufacturers from the start had been using templates, thats all. Wondered if there was a quick way I was missing.

The category templates were setup by me. If you wish to use it just copy the text and edit to suit.

The wiki is a far better way of presenting and collating data than forum posts.

Glad the link has been noted ;)

I have been copying across some of the Weight Weenies forum posts into the Wiki but since I don't know what I'm talking about I've just copied the details straight from the posts as best I can.

There will doubtless be errors in there, so if anyone has a few mins to check and either add details or post them here for me to add/correct then please do.

So far, I have done Chainring Bolts (I wanted a nice easy one to remind myself what I was doing) and Forks.
