I dont know cyfa but they were around for years...I have a book somewhere that has pics of them all living up there...... :? or am I thinking of the moomins :lol: :lol: :lol:

no seriously if you google wallabies uk you will fint them i reckon :?

Heard rumour of a wallaby gang on (I think) Bodmin.. or perhaps Dartmoor (or, even more likely, another moor a gazillion miles away from either of those 2)..
 
That could be it then ian :oops: cyfa could go find them....he is the ginger beast of bodmin after all.....well he is to his postman now anyway :lol: :lol:
 
They are still in the Peak District on the moors near Buxton.. part fo a group released in the 1930's :shock:

There are more groups of them in the South too...
 
And.. according to some Google uncovered info, part of the Starling shortage is because they are afraid to breed...
 
That link has cheered me up loads cyfa...they are lovely little things mate....and I remembered right....I was up there a couple of years ago but didnt see any :cry: :cry:

I thought there are some in cornwallish territory somewhere ian...try and find the link tommorrow :?

I was snowed in at riber hall and was stuck up there for about two weeks....was excellent.....I spotted a sign on a high and narrow road saying take care wallabies......thought they were being a bit random at the time :lol: :lol:
