The birds cometh

Might of been a parakeet cyfa they breed over here in london and the like

Yep.. the Mynah family (Sturnidae) talk...

So do Corvids (crows, rooks, ravens, jackdaws, magpies)...

And I still want a Raven (they are used, usually in groups of 3, to hunt rabbits... much like birds of prey )

ah yes it could well of been a parakeet, as i remember there was a green bird on the roof a street or two away from my nans
then i searched and parakeets are green
(but i was young so it could be one of those false memory things :? )

There are flocks of parakeets in parts of Kent. . originally escaped from captivity they now live and breed and exist quite successfully as part of the local fauna..

And in the peak district there were some wallabies living wild for years....escaped from the old collection at riber castle

Imagine driving through the peaks and a small kangaroo running infront of you :shock: :shock:
