Surrey Hills, maybe sometime this year?

Re:

Is there anyone else familiar enough with this area to work out a route?

Re: Surrey Hills, Bank Holiday weekend

So is this wabble of wowdy wetrobikers widing on Monday? If not I might be tempted to do a more local ride from Reigate hill car park.

Currently trying to re-arrange for next Sunday, unless someone else wants to take up woodsman's reins

Re:

Yes mate,

I don't want to lead the ride not really knowing where we're going, with a bunch of rabid retroriders hunting for cake.
Was hoping someone with local knowledge may have been able to help.

Re:

Hi guys, although I've done Pete's original route a couple of times I'm really not sure I could patch it altogether.... Especially towards the end :/ it realy is best to go up there with someone who wnow's where there going, it's very easy to miss the good bits ;) well worth waiting for a guide to make the best of the day :)

Re: Surrey Hills, Bank Holiday weekend

Seemed a shame to waste the effort of pumping the tyres up, so took the old girl for a 15 mile blast around the Headley Heath area early this morning. Saw some lovely rhododendrons, got lost, and got directions from a woman walking her dogs with a parrot on her shoulder. Looking forward to next Sunday. I don't ride this bike often enough and have forgotten just how good it is - in the dry!

Headley Heath looks good. Not far for me via train.
