I dont get why red bull isn't fully liable.
It's not like they can't afford it, and they made it happen.

Maybe the competitors sign some sort of waiver which absolves Red Bull of any liability?

Absolutely
It's just surprising that it's legally Watertight.

But the competition moves into more and more dangerous territory, to attract viewers, to attract advertising money, to make the rich and comfortable brand owners feel the thrills.

When do you get off, abandon your career, sponsorship, lifestyle?

It's like doping in the tour again.
You could be ba fantastic road racing cyclist, but if you weren't prepared to dope, many teams wouldn't have you, and you'd be unlikely to win against equals that were.

The organisers have a responsibility to keep the risks and dangers manageable.
