So, Dr S..

You are saying if you go to this page:

http://www.aquarist-classifieds.co.uk/p ... 237535.php

You can see his Home Phone, and a link to photos on his photobucket Sithlord page etc

All I'm saying is Google is rather good sometimes. In no way am I suggesting that Simon Smiths home phone number is in the above link. It could well be, but its pure coincidence should it happen to be at the bottom of that page and starts with 01670.

Some might go even further to say that its the same tank being sold here on this very site:

Amazing coincidence

Sad news indeed for all with parts & money outstanding :(

So is the tank his or is he selling it for a friend as in the non-RB ad? Can't even get his story straight with that.....

He mentions helping out a lady...
Possibly a sob story he decided he was laying on a bit thick.
Anyone still believe the C story?
Funny he didn't want to say goodbye to his "friends"...

I'm liking his email address in his advert !
To be fair my dealings with him were always good. But these were over a year ago.Sounds like he (and maybe parts of hislife, dunno) have gone down the pan.

"Come on help this lady out please folks.. "

what a nice guy he is, i do hope he is alright.......

WHAT A LYING SCUMBAG!!!

If i was you guys who are owed money or parts id get legal proceedings rolling rather than just tap at a keyboard its your money/parts he has and its a shame he's gone down the scammer route but do something people

There won't be many people using solicitors when one letter costs the same as parts owed?
https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome?

Maybe still a balance of costs, but at least the principle would be observed.

Even if the cost of claiming back your money exceeds the money/value of the parts owed you should still do it. It will give a signal to other members that scamming will not be tolerated on the forum. If you let him get away with it, others might try to go down the same route as you can see it's very profitable.
