I've kept well out of this. He owes me nothing and I've had good dealings with him in the past but can somebody tell me why, after all this evidence and seemingly hundreds of pounds being stolen, nobody has gone to the police?

Stop pissing about with two week bans and small claims bullshit and get the law involved, its ridiculous that this has been allowed to drag on this long.

Edited to add that the date of the fish tank advert is early September, which is before he dissappeared on this site too.

I agree.
His Cancer story has certainly caused people to hold back though. There's a certain taboo involved, and one can be thought a scumbag for not believing a word of it, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

My own dealings with Si were far from good, I watched as he sold on items I'd sent out as Karma for a nice little profit. When I did post in the thread about this I got a few nasty messages from his supporters, who seem strangely quiet now.

That said I don't think this was a premeditated attempt at ripping people off, after all he could of listed thousands on pounds worth of gear and made a killing from the members on this and other cycling forums.

I suspect he is a little selfish and lazy. Once a few weeks have gone by its easier for him to disappear than it is to send the parts and apologise. He has done this before and returned, but I can't see him coming back now.

i can confirm this,he has mentioned to me a couple of times that he is about to become a father.and before anyone ask,s i have not been put up to this by dr s.and any legal action that comes my way i can handle,the x wife sure of that
